Mission Statement

MISSION
By virtue of our Baptism, we are called to holiness by giving glory to God, and by helping every soul within our reach attain eternal life through Jesus Christ.  Powered by prayer and led by the Holy Spirit, our community of Catholics desire to accompany others on their journey to encounter Jesus, grow as joyful missionary disciples, and give witness to Him in their homes, in their communities, and in the world. 
 
Vision
ShoreCatholics looks to provide opportunities, companionship,  and information for all our neighbors and visitors to grow in faith, and as disciples. We want to share the joy of the Catholic faith with everyone, and help all to establish their own thriving Domestic Church, which is the home. We aspire to engage and activate the disciple within!

 Belief Statements
We believe that a Catholic revival is underway, and it is beginning in the homes and communities of the faithful.

• We believe that all the members of our faith communities should be encouraged to grow as disciples, and it is our goal to support and accompany them.
• We believe the family is the primary and most essential element of the faith and society.
• We believe that the parents are the primary faith educators of their children, and we will do everything we can to assist and mentor them as they live that Baptismal vow.
• We believe that if we are to guide our young back to the faith, we must first engage with the men and help rebuild the Domestic Church (The Home)
• We believe that the Sacraments are our greatest asset and should be taught, celebrated and administered with great joy and solidarity.
• We believe that all neighbors and visitors should be able to learn more about what our faith teaches, why, and the variety of rich content that is available to them on-line. 
• We believe that all neighbors and visitors should be able to easily find opportunities for worship, adoration and confession.
• We believe that all neighbors and visitors should be able to easily find ministries and groups that offer service, community, and faith development.
• We believe that all neighbors and visitors should be aware of the events that are taking place in our faith communities. 
• We believe that all neighbors and visitors should be aware of the faith-based organizations that would value their time, talent and or treasure.
