INTO THE BEACH- New season starts June 3rd Each summer, a crew of intrepid men meet on the beach to share faith and build fraternity. This summer, we will be going through The Search, a beautifully produced program available on Formed.org (Sign up “as parishioner.” Choose St. Denis or St Catharine as your parish.) The Search "What is this journey in between the event we call “birth” and the one we call “death”? Is the journey taking you somewhere, or are you leading yourself to some kind of destination – a destination that could extend beyond your last breath? What do you want from your life during the in between? The questions are there. And, the answers are too." We meet Saturday mornings beginning June 3rd at 7:30am on the Spring Lake beach. We sit at the Salem Ave entrance. We will be discussing the second video, Who Are You? All you need is a beach chair and a desire to grow in knowledge, friendship, and faith. No prior experience necessary. Come and see!! Contact Steve Kenny for more information, or just show up! [email protected]
Join us for prayer, reflection and Rosary as we move through gentle stretches, balance and strengthening movements. All are welcome. We meet at Duffy Hall at St. Margaret's in Spring Lake.
Join Local Men in prayer and faith discussion. We are currently working through "Plan of Life" by Father Landry. Book not necessary since we read it there as well! Come and see! We meet by the Atlantic Ave entrance at a table in the covered area, or in St. Mark's Hall during the winter months.
Calling all Men! Do you feel isolated, losing the spiritual and moral strength to encourage and strengthen one another in virtue as only brotherhood can? As Scripture says, “Iron sharpens iron, and so must one man sharpen another” (Prov. 27:17). Purpose: To enrich the lives of Men by providing opportunities for men to enjoy a sense of brotherhood and spiritual growth. Our study focuses on Jesus’ words and example in the Gospel, as well as trusting in the gifts of the Holy Spirit to help us through our journey in this life, with the goal of Pursuing the Way, the Truth, the Life. Location: St. Denis School Cafeteria. We meet the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. We will continue to monitor the meeting guidelines and allow for some social distancing and open windows at our meetings. Each participant is welcome to distance as they feel appropriate, and can wear a mask if more comfortable doing so. Email John Kuchinski for details: [email protected]
