Calling all Men! Do you feel isolated, losing the spiritual and moral strength to encourage and strengthen one another in virtue as only brotherhood can? As Scripture says, “Iron sharpens iron, and so must one man sharpen another” (Prov. 27:17). Purpose: To enrich the lives of Men by providing opportunities for men to enjoy a sense of brotherhood and spiritual growth. Our study focuses on Jesus’ words and example in the Gospel, as well as trusting in the gifts of the Holy Spirit to help us through our journey in this life, with the goal of Pursuing the Way, the Truth, the Life. Location: St. Denis School Cafeteria. We meet the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. We will continue to monitor the meeting guidelines and allow for some social distancing and open windows at our meetings. Each participant is welcome to distance as they feel appropriate, and can wear a mask if more comfortable doing so. Email John Kuchinski for details: [email protected]
Healing the Wounds of Abortion The psychological and spiritual wounds of abortion can be sharp, deep and crippling. You may feel a deep numbness and may not be able to name the pain or recognize any of the symptoms. It can also have a devastating impact on the father or grandparents of the aborted child and friend/s of the mother. You do not have to continue to hide in shame and fear. Rachel’s Vineyard’s Retreat is a chance to focus on this painful time in your life through a supportive non-judgmental process, in an atmosphere of confidentiality, understanding, and compassion. It is designed to help both women and men experience the mercy and compassion of God. If you have suffered through an abortion and have isolated yourself from healing and forgiveness, you might consider attending one our retreat weekends. For more information, contact Judy Warenkiewicz at 732-536-6871. All inquiries are strictly confidential. Also Offered November 10-12
